SPARTUS® ULTRA VX27 HELMET – PROFESSIONAL PROTECTION AGAINST LASER BEAMS
SPARTUS® Ultra VX27 is a specialized helmet designed for laser welding, cleaning, and cutting, created with maximum user protection in mind. It is not just an auto-darkening filter that protects your eyes – it is a comprehensive facial protection system that, thanks to a special coating, effectively shields against both reflected and scattered laser radiation. The active filter provides protection in the 1000–1100 nm range at the level of D LB7 + IR LB8, while the external coating complements it with 1000–1100 DIR LB8 class. The helmet is suitable for work with Class 4 lasers and meets the requirements of EN 207:2017 and EN ISO 16321. SPARTUS® Ultra VX27 is a reliable piece of equipment wherever safety in contact with a laser beam is essential.
EXCELLENT VISIBILITY AND PROTECTION 
With an optical class of 1/1/1/2 and a response time of 1/25,000 of a second, the auto-darkening filter in the SPARTUS® Ultra VX27 ensures excellent visibility and instant darkening upon flash detection. Shading can be adjusted in two ranges: DIN 4–8 and DIN 8–12, allowing precise settings based on the laser beam intensity and type of work being performed. In standby mode, the filter remains exceptionally bright – DIN 2 provides excellent visibility of the surroundings and details without removing the helmet, greatly facilitating workstation setup and work between welds.
ADVANCED OPERATING MODES AND FULL CONTROL
The helmet offers three operating modes – GRIND, MIX, and DARK – which help adapt it to various tasks. MIX mode minimizes eye fatigue during spot welding and high-power laser applications by smoothly transitioning through intermediate shading levels. The user can also freely adjust sensor sensitivity and delay time to ensure maximum comfort and safety.
USER COMFORT AND ERGONOMIC DESIGN
Ultra VX27 is not only about safety but also daily work comfort. Thanks to its lightweight design and fully adjustable headgear, the helmet fits the user’s head perfectly. Adjustment of the viewing angle, distance between the filter and the face, and stable mounting ensure the equipment performs well even during prolonged use.
